In front of a conference-record attendance of 32,848, the 12th-ranked UMass football team suffered a 39-13 loss to No. 10 New Hampshire in the inaugural Colonial Clash at Gillette Stadium. The Wildcats (5-3, 3-2 CAA) scored 15 points on two UMass (4-3, 2-2 CAA) turnovers in the first half and never looked back. Kyle Havens threw for a school-record 450 yards and Anthony Nelson had the fourth-most yards (190) and receptions (11) in a game.
