* You have to admit it's at least a tiny bit suspicious.

Bringing in head coach Rich Rodriguez - a longtime devotee of the spread offense? Scheduling UMass - a team that reached the FCS National Championship game in 2006? And - to top it all off - installing a speedy, athletic quarterback that has dreadlocks flowing beneath his maize-and-blue helmet?

It's so clear to FCS observers: Michigan has Armanti Envy. Seriously.



Who led the Mountaineers to the shocking upset victory over Michigan in the Big House? Armanti. And who has Rodriguez, and the rest of Michigan Nation, been trying to emulate ever since in an effort to make their rivalry against Ohio State at least marginally competitive once again?
