Teague said the football game at Colorado is set for Sept. 7, 2013, and UCA is guaranteed $390,000.
“We’ve signed the contract and mailed it,” Teague said. “We haven’t heard back, but it should be a done deal because they (the University of Colorado) initiated it.”
The games are part of a effort by UCA to play at least one “money” game each year in football and basketball to help with athletic budgeting as the Bears are on track to become full-fledged members of NCAA Division I in 2010.
The football team has games at Tulsa in 2010, Oklahoma State in 2011 and Ole Miss in 2012.
