Also cool to see that fifth year Mike DeNucci made the trip. He got injured during the Lafayette game and couldn't play, but he came to Idaho and worked with the position groups and you could see him working with the guys as if he was an assistant coach.

To Lehigh folks these fifth years were a really special group that finally saw their hard work pay off with the glorious title and the playoff run and a 9-3 record. To put this in perspective - the grand total of victories those guys had experienced was seven going into this season. Seven!
So true! I was talking to my wife about this tonight, in terms of how do you pick a team MVP? IF you have to go with one, then I think it is Perri. But, a good argument can be made that the five 5th years who came back for one last round, after what they had gone through, just tugs at your heart in exemplifying what dedication, commitment, brotherhood, and heart is all about.
