MIT is 1-0 and will start NEWMAC play next week. Last OOC for this season is against Alfred State at home this Saturday.
UChicago, after a rocky offseason that saw its incumbent coach let go unexpectedly, has started the season 0-2. The Prairie Fire of Knox College is the new darling of the MWC with 2-0 (voted in the bottom half of the poll) and will face the Maroons next in Galesburg this Saturday.
Even as things stand now, does UChicago or MIT have a better chance of hoisting a championship trophy in football than any of the Ancient Eight?
