The Richmond Spiders ended the RiverTowne Invitational Tuesday just how they started it on Monday: atop the leaderboard.After matching the program record for lowest single-round score with a 5-under 283 in Round 1, the Spiders stayed in first with back-to-back scores of 293 (+5) in Rounds 2 and 3 to finish the event at 5-over par (869), the best tournament score in program history. Richmond finished three shots in front of runner-up Coastal Carolina for its first tournament win since last year's Patriot League Championship and their first in an event with 15 or more teams since the Bill Berg Invitational in October 2017.
