    Gateway Conference

Quote from Ill. St. Head Coach

“We’re excited to travel to Fargo and introduce ourselves to the Bison and the Fargodome,” Johnson said. “If we’re not presently the stoutest conference in the country, there will be very little argument about it when North Dakota State and South Dakota State join.”

Can we get rid of Indiana State? I guess we should keep them around so after we beat each other up all year we can at least hope that we will always get a W out of them...

    Re: Gateway Conference

so i was playing NCAA 08 recently, and i made a conference of 12 FCS teams...(took out the big 12 teams and replaced them with FCS teams)

    North Division
    New Hampshire
    UMass
    UNI
    North Dakota State
    Montana
    Southern Illinois

    South Division
    Appalachian State
    Youngstown State
    Illinois State
    Western Illinois
    Missouri State
    James Madison

Playing it wise..im in the 6th season...UNI, Montana and YSU have been in the top 25 every year...

Simulating wise...39 years...UNI has 26 Conference Titles, 9 National Titles
YSU 6 Conference Titles, 3 times ranked #1 in the country, and two National Runner Up finishes

-North Dakota State has never won more than 7 games in a season.
-Appalachian State has never broke the top 25.

I attribute UNIs success to 16 straight years with the top recruiting class

You obviously didn't/couldn't factor in the home field for Montana. I will have to pick up that game. It really does have most of the FCS teams and players? Or is it just names of teams with numbers and no player names?
