But Armstrong returned for the start of the 2nd half, and the Lions ultimately won 31-3. I assume almost everyone will pick UIW in the upcoming pick ‘em, and that is to be expected. But with the way TAMUC is playing defense and the talent of our young guys on offense, most in Commerce believe this ends a Lion win.
Here is a thread you should read and perhaps make a case for Commerce being included in the Top 25. They are eligible for the AGS poll since they could possibly win the SLC title, even though they are NCAA playoffs ineligible. Your Lions went to Hammond and beat SLU who just tromped Jacksonville State on their field. At least a good game or a victory next week should put the Commerce Lions on the map:
