Haven't watched UT-Martin so just going with the Valley team. Bears are a handful offensively for any defense.
Hope the Bears come out strong and represent the MVFC well.
This would be one of the bigger upsets of the first round if UT-Martin pulled it off. Hopefully, Missouri State uses being robbed of a national seed as motivation and not feeling disappointed.
I'll be there to watch my first in-person FCS playoff game.
Bears come out with a chip on their shoulder for being snubbed a seeded place at the Bye Week table. Stats look even but against different levels of competition. MoSt bears by 14 over UT Martin.
We were probably 1 win shy of being seeded (though I think we still should've been) but I'll be damned if this isn't the most I've ever been excited for a Bears game!!!
I believe there is an NCAA rule that schools cannot charge lower for the playoffs than they do for their cheapest regular season game since the NCAA gets 75% of the net gate receipts for playoff games. I believe it's for this reason that NDSU still has one regular season home game each year where tickets prices are ~$30 for endzone and ~$40 for sidelines when all the rest of the games are at least $10 per ticket more than that now.
