didn't intentionally leave it out ... so do you think he was the 3rd best offensive player in FCS ?? Given his stats, most of which were piled up against very weak opponents ? Noticed he ran for 95 yards and 3 TDs against JSU ins 1st round, so you saw him have a good running game. But he played maybe 5 other teams with a pulse all year and only averaged 37 rush yards and 1 TD per game in those games; and was 31-57 for 437 yards across 5 games .. so ran for 37 yards per game and passed for 87 yards avg per game for those 5 games against teams with a pulse. His 21 other TD came in 7 games against teams ranked 88th to 118th. The 5 other teams with a pulse (besides JSU) were Georgia St (bad FBS), Samford, Monmouth, then playoff games against JSU, Wofford and SDSU. If he played in the MVFC, he would have been the 5th best QB in our conference: Stick, Christion, McGuire, and Boyle were all better QBs, so was Straub but he got injured. Simmons and Dunne were arguably just as good. And maybe not even the 10th best offensive player in conference. Add several RBs and a couple WRs to the list of QBs. There is just no way he was 3rd best offensive player in FCS ... he wasn't close to 3rd in MVFC alone IMO.
