If I was SDSU, and I mean honestly, I'd go with the Freshman and let him take his bumps and bruises his first year and then have 3 years to spin it and build continuity and confidence. It's why I'd rather have NDSU start Trey Lance over Zeb Noland, but if Zeb can prove he deserves the #1, then I am good with that.

If a Freshman is good enough, sure... but I don't want to just throw him in there for the sake of having continuity for 4 years if that's going to be at the expense of a year. We have a pretty solid team coming back, and we need to play the best QB for next year, regardless of long term ramifications imo.
