PHILADELPHIA - Despite what calendars may indicate, what with the first day of spring come and gone along with April just over a week out, Northeastern weather continues to haunt Penn's baseball program. With this weekend's Brown series officially shifted to Providence, R.I., the Quakers will now play their sixth, seventh and eighth consecutive games off schedule, as last weekend's four-game slate with Fairleigh Dickinson moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. while Wednesday's midweek matchup with Lehigh was indefinitely postponed. Even with the poor roll of the weather dice, the Quakers have performed well in the face of adversity, picking up victories in three of their past five (all of which the back-end of doubleheaders).
