No Greg Menard? I'd say he's the best prospect from NDSU.

Tweener in terms of size and coming off an ACL injury. I have him on my list but just not among the top names yet. He was rejected or given low grades by the combines last year so I did not put him among the top guys.

ACL and I don't see him at Emanuel's level as a benchmark.

Menard is good but I agree that he is not as good as Emanuel. They aren't the same. Most see Menard as a 4.9 guy in the 40. Emanuel is tested better than I would expect Menard to test right now. How he comes back from the ACL will be critical for him.

As for NDSU defenders, I would rank them Emanuel, DeLuca (when healthy), Williams, and Cox. I would not even put Menard in the top 4 I have seen since scouting NDSU.

TBF, two of those guys have been in the NFL for a few years. One is likely drafted and certainly drafted if healthy and the other is a sophomore.

My point is I would take all of them coming out above Menard and Cox is your best defender returning this year along with Grimsley probably 2nd and Menard 3rd. I think Menard is good but he is likely a free agent while Cox could probably declare and go in the 4th or 5th round if he just improves a little bit.

Stick surprises me....I know I plugged him to ya early, but I don't see the NFL talent there at QB. Big time gamer for college, but I guess I don't see the arm talent. Not a physical freak either like Wentz was.

Disagree. I think he's got the talent and size/speed/strength of Emanuel to follow along the same pathway to the NFL. But agreed on the ACL, that's a tough injury and if he takes a step back my previous comment is moot.

Agree. I'm just not seeing the NFL hype for Stick. I'm starting to wonder if it's more just a Wentz effect from fans. My guess is he goes undrafted makes a camp, but not a roster. Hope I'm wrong.
