Former Bison Safety and eventual Defensive Coordinator/Associate Head Coach Gus Bradley was just named head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bradley was the fan and media favorite to take over the Bison when Bob Babich left to join Lovie Smith's staff for the St Louis Rams in 2002. It came down to Bradley and Bohl and AD Gene Taylor chose Bohl. Bradley stayed on staff as the defensive coordinator before being hired by Layne Kiffen to the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Full details on his path from NDSU to NFL Head Coach is here---- http://www.kfgo.com/on-air-details.php?ID=1847

Personally with Bradley or Bohl, Gene couldn't go wrong and the success of both has proven so since.
