East Tennessee State: ETSU Duo Garner SoCon Weekly Awards

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (April 5, 2021) – The celebrations for the Bucs big win over VMI did not end on Saturday in Lexington, Va. Earlier this afternoon, ETSU cracked the STATS Perform FCS Top 25 poll for the first time since 2018. Now the Bucs captured two of the three weekly Southern Conference awards as Quay Holmes (Powder Springs, Ga.) was named SoCon Offensive Player of the Week and Alijah Huzzie (Franklin, Ga.) earned SoCon Defensive Player of the Week. In addition, Holmes earned the honor of FCS National Offensive Player of the Week.
