Re: Top 100 FCS Players in upcoming draft
Nsimba Webster had a meeting with the Patriots. He had a pretty strong pro day, so I am surprised he didn't make the list.

Re: Top 100 FCS Players in upcoming draft
Some more tidbits I found in a forum:
Easton Stick had an insane 3-cone (6.65), 3rd best out of all positions this year
The top 5 in the 3-cone this year were all DBs except for Easton Stick.
Out of all QB’s that participated in the combine in the last 5 years, Easton Stick leads all of them in the 3-cone, beating the next best QB by .9 seconds
Easton Stick ran the 2nd fastest 3-cone time EVER for Quarterbacks at the combine

All good stuff, but I wonder about the predictiveness of the 3 cone for QBs other than to say that he's quite an athlete.
Re: Top 100 FCS Players in upcoming draft
So who has any info on the #13th rated QB in the draft Jacob Dolegala from Central Connectiuct State? I really never heard much about him so was I sleeping on him or did he have a great Pro day, did see he was 6'7". He is projected to go as high as the 4th round but more than likely in the 7th round.
Re: Top 100 FCS Players in upcoming draft
I'm moving this over to the "Ins & Outs" so please put any new draft stuff in that forum as well.

This topic seemed like one of the most pertinent topics with the NFL draft scheduled for tomorrow, just wondering why it is out of the main posting area?

Stood out (most players played 2 qtrs):
-WR Doss from UCD: multiple receptions. Looked like one of the better WR out there.
-DT Saunders from WIU. Had a sack when he whipped the OG. A couple of other QB pressures & caused some tackles for no gain on running plays. Looked very quick for 320 lb. Showed video of him doing back flips. Projected 4th Rd pick.
-Safety Adderly from UD. An INT & in on maybe 4 tackles
-CB Moreland from JMU: almost had a safety but they gave the WR forward progress. Playing basically nickel corner, maybe 2/3 of the snaps over 2 quarters, still in on about 4 tackles. (+ I'm biased).
-OT Howard from Alabama St: started at RT for the South. Looked really solid.
Bad:
-Corner Jordan Brown from SDSU:
Got torched by WVU WR on a long ball.
Then by beat on a slant route by the same WVU WR for a TD.
Later beat by a different WVU WR for another TD.
-OT Udoh from Elon: played left tackled 2nd/4th qtrs, looked ok, but got stood up a couple run plays that went nowhere and got beat once & his QB drilled.

I remember JMU playing CCSU in 2016, 56-21 JMU win, and CCSU having a tall as hell QB. I looked up the stats and Dolegala was 19-31, 2 TD, 0 INT, and wasn’t sacked. Pretty good considering he was only a Soph that year in the 2nd game of his 1st? year starting, and JMU won the NC that year. Obviously he wouldn’t have had much of a supporting cast at CCSU..

There is a board specifically for this kind of thing. This is it so I moved it here. This is where these should be started in the first place but it gets overlooked from time to time.
It was an issue that came up years back, then voted on as to how handle the incoming and also outgoing FCS players and this was the way we chose to take care of it. So, moved it over here.
Your first line nails down why it should be here. It is pertinent to the NFL Draft. Some of the players are former FCS players to be sure but it is mainly about moving on.
It has had a strong amount of views since it was moved so I don't think it is detracting from it and I left a redirect so that it stayed visible on the FCS board for the last couple of days.
