Furman reminds me of GSU last year. Sitting a 3-3 (we were 4-4) and needing to win out to make the playoffs, Furman has been on a roll.

Agree, this team is playing so much better now that the new staff has gotten things rolling just as the new GSU staff did last year.

Liberty Flames moving on up. Huge bump. It doesn't really matter as LU vs SBU in 2 weeks is for the big south title and the AQ.

Since Bison fans aren't going to say it I will...why is South Dakota still in the poll and Cal Poly isn't when Cal Poly beat them? 5-4 and 2 of those wins are against non DI teams. I guess the outcry is only if UND gets in.

Indiana State and Youngstown State are better than at least half of the teams ranked in this poll. How many teams in this poll could play within one score at Michigan State for a half, or beat the second best team in the Sun Joke by 4 TDs on the road? I'm going to go out on a limb and say maybe 4 or 5. All of these FCS polls are garbage.

ODU ahead of Towson? UNH with a 1st place vote??

That vote was probably from Dave Coulson. I heard Dave needs a new laptop so he's trying to boost UNH into a seed so App State gets sent up to Durham. Then he can get his PC to physically freeze again like it did back in the 90's. Sorry Dave, they put heat into the press box back in 2005, but I can arrange for someone to spill a Coke on your keyboard up at Cowell.

Oh Jeez don't remind me about that playoff game back in the 90's. With all due respect to App State and yes Dexter Coakley was a beast but UNH was within one drop of an easy screen pass and one really blown out of bounds call by a SWAC ref from winning that game easily. Like App State UNH wouldn't of won the NC that year but they should have won the game, and again Dexter Coakley was a beast.

I don't get the love for USD, UND and Cal Poly... All season long they all get more credit than they probably deserve. I also don't get the love for 2 SWAC teams in the top 25.

Y'all deserve it. Hoping for 4 SoCon in playoffs; I don't know if there is a particular sequence of events needed to make that happen, but I think GS, FU, AppSt., and WC all deserve it. I'm still pissed Wofford played Virginia "NAIA" Wise, though.
