It's happened every week, every team we play, nothing new. Last week it was W&M defense, we'd never score on them. 38 points later, Delaware is our first real test.

UNH 41 URI 24 - The Wildcats remember last years upset & jump on Rams early & coast.
JMU 30 ODU 23 - Monarch offense sputters against the Dukes enough for JMU to win.
UR 28 UMass 24 - Spiders finally get first CAA win in a close game.
Maine 28 VU 7 - 'Nova continues taking spankings - offense troubles continue against Bears
TU 34 UD 24 - Towson offense will be more consistent than the Hens'

Haha, you're not sneaking up on anyone at 6-1! I really don't understand all the picks against Towson, either. Maybe UD will win, but it's really going out on a limb. I can assure you that CAA teams are not looking past you at this point. Your defense is giving up more points than I'd be comfortable with, though, if I was a Towson fan. The over/under for the UNH game might be 100.

I might be reading this wrong, but I am absolutely not bitter or in denial. I'm enjoying the F out of this season so far!

Nope I was saying on my part. For picking UD. You should be enjoying this season and this fan will certainly be pulling for the tigers come playoff time.

Tough 3-3 week for me in week 8. Should not get any easier from here on out. The Tribe get a week to think about being eliminated from the playoffs while UD looks to play spoiler as well against Towson. Is that right? Someone playing spoiler to TOWSON!?!?!?! Let's see if another week of tough match-ups lead to some more surprises.

URI picked up a big first win in the CAA this year last week which ended UD's playoff chances. Can they play spoiler on the road this week to UNH? The 'Cats have a tough stretch to finish the season by playing JMU/@UR/Maine. For them, this has to be put in the win column or face a tough road to the playoffs and their annual date at UNIxlolx
URI 30 - UNH 37

JMU @ ODU - 12pm
Oyster Bowl time! JMU vs. ODU Round 1! Playoff implications for both teams?!?!? What a big game starting at high noon like an old country western cowboy duel. JMU rides in after a bye week to an area they love to recruit in and have plenty of support. They have been extremely strong in the run game like the playoff contenders of the mid-2000's with a rFr QB at the helm and one of their toughest defenses in a long time. ODU should be able to challenge the Dukes on offense but will the defense be able to get off the field and stop the dominant run game? Any Dukes turnovers by the young QB/RBs would be deadly. If they avoid those, Purple and Gold should prevail.
JMU 28 - ODU 20

UMass @ UR - 1pm
Two teams with promising starts that have went south the past few weeks. UR is STILL in search for their first conference win. CAA North teams have trouble traveling below the Mason Dixon and UMass is no exception. UR is better than 3-4 and will pull even after this one.
UMass 21 - UR 35

Maine @ Nova
No road game is easy in the CAA. Nova may be WAY down, but that doesn't mean high flying Maine should cake walk to a win. This may be closer than expected if Nova is still fighting or a complete wash. Another snow game? Let's hope so as the Bears should be use to the elements.
Maine 38 - Nova 13

UD @ Towson
UD normally enjoys their trip over to Maryland for a quick W and get home in time to join the Saturday night parties. This year though, they may be lucky to just hang with the Tigers. Towson is surprising everyone on a weekly basis. Is this the week they lose a conference game? Been thinking it the past few weeks so I think I have learned my lesson.

The Roadrunners aren't dominating like they thought right out of the gate like they thought they would. Who's kidding though, same with GaSt. GSU-Other picked up a nice win in OT over S.Alabama last week to pick up their season. Do they go on the road to pick up a victory against another transitional start-up? I think so. Check it out on the Longhorn Network!
