Bethune-Cookman defensive end Ryan Davis received a great deal of national and regional recognition Monday, coming off his outstanding 3.5 sack, 11 tackle performance against the Norfolk State Spartans last Thursday on ESPNU. Not only did he earn MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by officials from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), but also one of the biggest nationally-based awards as well. Joining Davis in receiving MEAC honors, running back Isidore Jackson was named MEAC Offensive Player of the Week.
