Kickoff scheduled for 5pm PDT from Portland's Jeld Wen Field. The Vikings welcome DIII Willamette University to their home field, the first meeting between the two schools since the early 60's. Willamette (pronunced wil-LAM-ett) has played in the DIII playoffs each of the last four years, and their coach was a finalist for the Portland State job a couple years back. Their offense is primarily the "fly" offense, similar to Oregon State. The Vikings will start Connor Kavanaugh but hope to play Drew Hubel most of the game. Also, auditions will be held for a replacement for Cory McCaffrey, with freshman Shaquille Richard slated to get most of the work. Weather is a slight chance of rain with temps in the mid 50's.

The truth is that we really are not playing well at all. Also, Myles Wade, our big 300 pound DLineman was injured on the last play of the half. Why exactly are we playing this game?
