The guy is money. If we had had an offense in 2009 I think he might be near the all-division record.

Congrats to Mora. He was pretty much 1a to Bevins all year last year and will probably be 1st team K on most teams come end of the year with him being out with a quad issue for a couple weeks. I do also think he will be getting a shot on Sundays

I think his PB is a 50 yd'er - at least that's what the radio guys were saying last night.

In the past two seasons, Mora is 27/29 on field goals and 79/79 on PAT. Not sure any kicker in FCS can match that consistency. He's 100% so far in 2011.

As I said (no smack meant), Mora was 1a to Matt Bevins' 1 last year and I believe two years ago as well. Probably the two top kickers in FCS (be nice to have a kicking showdown between the two in the postseason)

So how many straight PAT's does Bevins have in his career?

I forget..I think he had a streak of 80 some in a row at one point. Id have to look through the box scores to be sure (I got back a couple hours ago from a trip to the ER) Again major props to Mora for the streak, people dont realize just how tough it is to line up and kick a PAT. I know I certainly couldnt.

You also must credit the guys on the line and the holders.

So true, he has had exceptional play around him

Dead on comment in regards to the line and holders. Carter Jones has likely been the snapper for every single one of Mora's kicks. I don't believe he has ever made a bad snap on any punts during his four year career, as well.

Is that Jim's son?

Not sure if you are serious or not, but no.

PATs at the college level are just as much a reflection on the Snapper, Holding, and Line as many have stated. However his track record on FGs show he is ELITE.xthumbsupx
