One Top 10 Showdown and Ranked Teams on the Road Highlight the MEAC and SWAC Weekends

The No. 10 UAPB Golden Lions go on the road to No. 2 Jackson State for an inter-conference division match-up. Both teams have one conference loss and are looking to stay in the race, although the Tigers are ineligible for the SWAC Championship Game (SCG). The No. 7 Prairie View Panthers are traveling for an intra-divisional matchup against the Southern Jaguars on the Bluff.
First place in the Western Division is up for grabs, unfortunately like the Tigers, the Jaguars are ineligible for the 2011 SCG. The defending HBCU Football Major Division National Champion Texas Southern host the No. 1 Alabama State Hornets. While an unranked and undefeated in conference play NCA&T Aggies squad have a chance to make a statement as they host the No. 5 B-CU Wildcats in MEAC competition. ...
