View Full Version : The remaining winless teams in FCS

Northern Colorado (Sacramento State)
VMI (@Coastal Carolina)
Charleston Southern (@VMI 10/15)
Columbia (@Sacred Heart)
Mississippi Valley State (@Alabama A&M)
Missouri State (Illinois State)
Valparaiso (San Diego)

So which of these teams has the best chance to run the table? Charleston Southern's loss to a DIII school would seem to make them the favorite.

If I am going strictly on their schedules I think Missouri State or Northern Colorado. I think Missouri State will pull out a win this year. Northern Colorado might, but doubt they can beat anyone in the Big Sky.

Both Valpo and Charleston Southern look like strong choices, but they have weak schedules. I mean Valpo still gets to play Campbell and Davidson. Charleston Southern still gets to play Presbyterian and VMI who is still winless as well. I put VMI in the same place as Charleston Southern.

Should be an interesting run to see which of these can pull off such a great feat!

Coastal Carolina wasn't winless before. In fact they have only lost 1 game all year. So all winless teams are still winless.

Georgia State and Texas-San Antonio have no Division I wins. They play each other in a couple weeks though, so one of them will get off the list.

North Dakota travels to Northern Co. ND wins close game. N. CO is getting better week by week.
Yale travels to Columbia, but Columbia has already beaten Dartmouth. Yale wins just the same.
Dayton travels to Valparaiso and pummels them
Charleston Southern travels to Gardner-Webb and I believe they will come away with their first win
Texas Southern travels to Miss Valley State and pummels them

As the regular season ends next week, we have one team having already completed a winless season and two others with a chance to do the same next week.

Columbia hosts 7-2 Brown, while Charleston Southern travels to 3-7 Presbyterian.

Looking for teams with no FCS wins, I see Nichols and Western Carolina.
