I'd love to see it. Rob Ambrose is a very easy coach to root for.

As much as I love FCS over FBS upsets. Uh. . nah. Not gonna happen. U-Maryland by three or more touchdowns.

I kinda see it that way also, 42-17,but do think Towson might get few CAA victories against the top 6

Dream scenario - Towson 24. Maryland 20
Reality - Maryland 35, Towson 7

I'll say it now, IF Towson pulls this off, I will not complain about how the rest of the year goes. This would be a huge, huge win for the school.

I'd give Towson more of a chance if they had already been on the road. Their wins are good (Nova and Colgate are never really pushovers), but traveling to such a large crowd and dealing with the nausea the Maryland uniforms will induce is just asking too much. Agree with UIWWildthing, this is probably a 35-7 or 42-14 type of game (assuming the Terps play second and third string in the second half).

I'm-a cheering for the Tigers though!

I'll be upset (along with my stomach) if Maryland trots out some abyssmal uniform combination this week. That being said, I'll pull for the Tigers. xthumbsupx

Go Tigers!!!

The way my wife picks games: "Tiger more fierce than a turtle, thus Towson wins"!! Her winning percentage is better than mine thus far this year using such logic. (She does get stumped by mascots like Crimson Tide, Thundering Turd, etc.)

Anyway, go Tigers!

Towson at least has a chance, but Maryland will pull it off in the second half.

Terps by 3-10.

I love watching FCS schools beat the flagship FBS schools of their state. Why do people not think they have a chance? Either that Temple win was a total fluke or this game is going to at least be a close one.

I don't think my Tigers are going to win, but just the thought of it actually happening...
Things would change forever in how Baltimore views Towson in almost every aspect you can think of.

The Terp faithful would be calling for Edsell's head if they lose to Towson. Go Tigers!

I'll take Towson and the points. Call it MD 31, Towson 14.

That would be a monster upset. Even if Terps are down, Towson has been dreadful at worst and mediocre at best over many years..at the FCS level. To knock off Maryland might actually cause those people to rethink their uniforms.

I'd wear the same ones they wore when they beat Miami.

No offense Andy, but just thinking about Towson at all in Maryland would be a big change. There were some peeps we hung out with at UD from the Rockville/Gaithersburg, Maryland area and when the UD/Towson game was coming up, they didn't know Towson was in Maryland.

Sad this is that's true. Towson has the 2nd highest enrollment of any school in MD, but outside the Baltimore area it's hardly thought of.
