I think the point was to show that just about everybody that has played Virginia Teach in their home opener (including JMU, though they won last year) at Lane Stadium has been crushed of late so.

If we are going with home openers, include 2008's 24-7 win over Furman that was just 3-0 at halftime.

I will definitely be pulling for VT the rest of the way. Not that anything can really make this loss feel better, but it will be slightly less embarrassing if they run the table in the ACC. I will be interested to see how close the game is in Greenville this weekend with East Carolina.
