Montana State cancels 2012 game at Oregon
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — The football teams at Montana State and Oregon have mutually agreed to cancel their planned matching next September in Eugene, Ore.
MSU athletics director Peter Fields tells the Bozeman Daily Chronicle (http://bit.ly/p1gdKP) that the Bobcats wanted to have another home game while the Ducks wanted to increase their schedule strength by adding another Football Bowl Subdivision team to its schedule.
Fields said the Bobcats are going to host Stephen F. Austin next fall, instead. The date of the game has not been determined.
