Bart Crader? What's the word on this kid, Pokes? He going to be a strong QB for the Pokes for years to come? Where will he stand? Seems no QB really stood out for you guys as they try to round into form. That's not good, not when you have so many weapons to hit. Quentin Lawrence had another score today and of course, I'm really high on him as one of the better WRs in the league along with Steven Whitehead, another McNeese WR, who also scored.

Cowboys put forth physical effort during Friday's football scrimmage
Spring game scheduled for next Thursday in Cowboy Stadium
March 31, 2006
McNeese State head football coach Tommy Tate called his team's second scrimmage of the spring a "very physical display."
The Cowboys went through an hour and a half workout in Cowboy Stadium on Friday and both the offense and the defense had their moments.
Touchdowns were scored by the offense but only one came on a sustained drive of 50 yards.
"I thought that the defense did a good job of tackling today," Tate said. "And, I thought that the offense did a good job in the red zone."
Freshman Bart Crader teamed up with Dayton Landry for the only touchdown of a sustained nature in the workout. They got together on a 28 yard pass, culminating a drive that had started at midfield.
