Article in today's Express-Times on Lehigh's first day of Spring Practice and player/coach reactions:www.nj.com/sports. (You have to go down the left side to the link on the Coen article). Link also found at www.I-AA.com. Definitely sounds like a new attitude.:)

Amore balanced O almost a necessity with Threatt. He is not as accurate a passer, but O s/b very exciting nonetheless. Pastore could be key player with Thompson. Would expect passing schemes to be rather vanilla given lack of experience and depth this year.

Interesting article. Sounds like the players are fired up.

Seems like a change of pace or like he's shaking things up a bit, based on the comments, which is usually a very good thing ... particularly with the talent Lehigh typically has on its roster. No knock on Lembo, but sometimes after that long a tenure, change is a good thing.

From talking to a number of parents of players, the change has been very good. Coen and the new staff seem to bring a new level of maturity. Lehigh's staff under Pete was very young--including himself. Sometimes it's tougher getting the attention of young people when there isn't much of an age gap, and it seemed 'lost' a number of the players. Additionally, the ability to change and adapt to different situations is important.
