Whoever voted for MSU needs to check into the Betty Ford (RIP) clinic

Looks like not many did.

MSU - It feels like Terry Allen being tossed under bus.

That was me, didn't mean to click submit lol. I'll be happy with a 4-7 record this year.

The big shocker for me is, why the crap is Chris Douglas not on the all-conference team at RB?

Until someone beats UNI, they are the favorite.

NDSU/UNI game in the FD is going to be a fun one!!

They still won the conference last year.

They still won the conference last year.

And they should be the favorite this year, which is why I'm picking against them. Plus they have that Jekyll/Hyde thing going on where they look like NFL one week and NAIA the next

Because there are running backs like Carlos Anderson, DJ McNorton, and Jermaine Cook in the conference.

BTW, Douglas was HM.

Oh, and here are the leading rushers from the Valley last season...I'll bold the retuning backs.

1. Minett, Kyle-SDSU Sr 10 234 1208 5.2 12 62 120.8
2. Cook, Jamaine-YSU So 11 241 1276 5.3 11 71 116.0
3. McNorton,D.J.-NDSU Jr 14 280 1559 5.6 15 67 111.4
4. Rennie, Tirrell-UNI Jr 12 232 1291 5.6 15 75 107.6
5. Gates, Darrius-INS Sr 11 188 1057 5.6 17 65 96.1
6. Douglas,Chris-MSU Jr 11 152 1051 6.9 11 97 95.5
7. Ray, Caulton-WIU So 13 246 1075 4.4 9 56 82.7
8. Anderson, C.-UNI So 12 172 974 5.7 2 54 81.2
9. Johnston,Stephe-MSU Jr 11 147 752 5.1 5 61 68.4
10. Flowers, Bryce-WIU Fr 13 150 804 5.4 8 41 61.

Now, Rennie isn't a running back, however, his yards took away from Carlos. I'd put Carlos ahead of Douglas as well.

My rankings of RB's in the MVFC run like this

1. DJ McNorton
2. Jermaine Cook
3. Carlos Anderson
4. Tirrell Rennie - I don't care he isn't a RB, he is a better RB than most of the ones in the conference
5. Chris Douglas
5B. Caulton Ray

How much did Western Illinois lose to earn a 7th place vote?

They lost their QB and star WR, amongst others.

As well as MVFC DPotY Kyle Glazier.

A lot.

The QB they lost was a Walter Payton Finalist, they lost the defensive POTY from last season, and their best WR...plus some other players I don't care to look up.

Unlike teams like UNI or SIU, they don't have the depth to make up for that.
