Keep it up Campbell. Nice to see he threw his first pass to a fellow member of the Tribe. Keep us up to date. Hopefully he'll make the Browns and move on up that depth chart...

Former Tribe QB Lang Campbell Named NFL Europe's Offensive Player of the Week

Completes First Professional TD Pass to fellow W&M Alumni, WR Rich Musinski

03/21/06 12:00PM

New York, NY - Former William and Mary All-American quarterback Lang Campbell (Winchester, VA), currently of the Cleveland Browns, was named as NFL Europe's League Offensive Players of the Week for games played the first week of the season (March 18), the league announced today.

Campbell completed 16 of 26 passes (61.5 percent) for 139 yards and one touchdown to lead the Berlin Thunder to a 33-29 victory over the Amsterdam Admirals in a rematch of World Bowl XIII.

The former William and Mary star guided Berlin to touchdowns on each of its first three possessions, including a 27-yard touchdown pass to Patriots wide receiver and one-time college teammate Rich Musinski (West Pittston, PA).

“It’s always nice to win the first one and set the tone for the rest of the season,” said Campbell. “I thought we did a lot of good things.”

Two great players. Musinski just killed us. I hope both make the NFL. They're both off to a great start. Will make watching spring football more enjoyable.

Berlin vs. Hamburg is on the NFL Network right now, early in the 2nd Quarter. Of course, Berlin just put Symonds in at QB!!

I didn't even know I got the NFL Network on my cable system!! And they have four point field goals if over 50 yards in the Europe version!!

Never really checked the pro-boards, but now that I see this post:

I was at that game. I was rooting for Amsterdam, but in general just looking to see some football :D I took some pictures of that game as well:

Thanks, Thom. The third one down is Musinski scoring.
