A rare miss yesterday I'm surprised there haven't been more really. I can only plead my case and beg forgiveness.

In this economy to help make ends meet GAS changed over to total night shifts after our move to the new ranch in Feb. Not the easiest thing for a guy in his mid 40's I thought I was done with nights for good in my early 30'sxnottalkingx, wrongoxoopsx. Friday my toddler decided to share her summer cold she brought home from daycare with Daddy. After polishing off close to a quart of high test coffee xcoffeexthroughout the night just to finish work, I decided to see the Doc first thing yesterday morning. Doc decided Gas looked like crap and prescribed immediate rest(Duh) and an OTC cold med of my choice, again (Duh). After reminding th Doc of my now wired caffinated state a sleeping pill scrip was forwarded to drive through widow at Walgreens for a swift on the way home. I arrived back at home by 9:30 and thats when things went arye.

Up to this point in my life I have rarely ever taken sleeping pills but needing to rest before work last night I figured this was one of those times. Doc and the bottle told me the Ambien would take about a half an hour to take effect and have at least 8 hours to devote to sleep, OK. Half hour I thought, more than enough time to leisurly post the # while prepping for bed, again wrongo. Let me tell y'all one thing don't chase it down with a healthy adult male dose of Nyquil, no no no. That half hour was was literally about 5 minutes. I do remember seeing my alarm clock 9:43am the next thing I heard over a beeping alarm and Journey's don't look back was my wife saying it's 11:15 are you going to work? ???? WTFxsmhx *&%$#@ *%&@%$ She told me I did get up a few times over this period but I can't confirm it.

So last night about 1:45 I came to some realizations.
1) DANG IT! I missed posting the coundown!xflamemadxxrolleyesx:o
2) Except for a reciept that I went to see my Dr. I'm not totally sure, and will probably deny in the future that Tuesday July 19th, 2011 really happened.xconfusedx
3)Time warp wormholes may just possibly exist.
4) Have any of you had a reaction like this after taking a sleeping pill?
5) Does anyone want a fresh slightly used bottle of Ambein?xthumbsupx

Anyway, on with the countdown and again sorry for the flub:o I'll strive to do better. Now I'm off to bed again, I think??? What day is this??? Oh boy.xrolleyesx:)

Carpenter will be used this season as a WLB. He was red-shirted last year, but was a highly touted player coming out of high school. According to Rivals, he had offers in hand from Ole Miss, Navy, Air Force, Marshall, MTSU, and others. Some heads were definitely turned when he chose Samford. Outstanding young player.
