LB Justin Wray and RB Rod Chisholm are both going to miss the season. Big loss for ASU, especially Justin Wray, who was our 2nd leading tackler last season and a projected starter at strongside linebacker. Wray aggravated a shoulder injury from last season and will get a redshirt for 2011. He has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Rod Chisholm was battling for the 2nd running back spot and was a guy I hoped would finally break out. Chisholm was a product of Independence High School in Charlotte and still holds the Mecklenburg County single-season TD record. He has yet to live up to the hype he had coming out of high school and now has only 1 year left do do so. He is missing the season due to academics.
