A big part of my family's year revolves around Blue Hen Football in the fall/winter. Rates/Donations are rising. Always dreaming of those perfect fall Saturdays and tailgating. Was wondering what the typical season ticket situation is at the FCS level around the country. Here's ours for 2011 although more info is coming from the Hen's "real soon":

1. Parking - (about 100 yrds. from the stadium) $500 donation/yr. & $15/game
2. Tickets - (on about the 30 yrd. line) $22/seat/gm. + $75 donation/seat/yr. but not in addition to parking donation
3. Blue Hens vs. West Chester ...priceless?

Hmmm...

1. Parking - Less than 100 surface parking spaces on the campus, some garage parking available but no tailgating there
2. Tickets - $10 on temporary seats, general admission. Still waiting to finish the MSF.
3. Hoyas vs. Bucknell? Maybe next year...

You don't really want to know after what I've just seen from these schools.

Tickets between the 30s- Minimum $500 donation...$24 per seat for max 4 seats.
Parking within 100 yards of stadium- Minimum $1000-$2500 donation (depending on lot)...$150 fee.
Getting to sit in a section where everyone yells at you to sit down....Totally annoying!

The alternative...

Endzone seating- $19 per game...no donation.
QB Club Parking Lot 100yds from stadium- $220 per season....$85 dues (4-5 year waiting list)
Getting to stand the whole game and yell at people between the 30s to stand up....priceless!

That hurts. I've been to every one of them. We'll have 2 QB's in the NFL next year and neither one of them beat VU.

This years was the first that I have missed in awhile. You dont know how good it makes us feel watching joe's sucess with the ravens to be able to say he never beat us
