Another release, another honor for UMass junior linebacker Tyler Holmes. The All-American was named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year on Friday in addition to being an ECAC FCS All-Star. He was joined on the team by senior offensive lineman Greg Niland. Holmes has collected numerous accolades after a stud junior season.
