What FCS school backed out of the 9/17 date?

McNeese was only looking for 1 biggie this year. Texas State counts as FBS and UTSA as DI, according to our AD talking to the Selection Committee. TX ST has 11 more scholarships and UTSA is starting out as DI, unlike Lamar's blueprint.

As of today... for purposes, counted UTSA, TXST and USA as FCS due to their place in transition

UCA - 2 FCS, 1 FBS, 1 Div II
Lamar - 3 FCS, 1 Div II
McNeese - 2 FCS, 1 FBS, 1 Div II
Nicholls - 1 FCS
Northwestern St - 2 FBS, 1 FCS, 1 Div II
SHSU - 3 FCS, 1 FBS
SFA - 2 FCS, 1 FBS, 1 Div III (transitioning to Div II)
SLU - 1 FCS, 2 FBS

SLU needs to 'finish strong' in their scheduling, the only schools with good schedules built for playoff eligiblity are Lamar and SHSU. Yikes!

So the majority of the SLC has lesser division opponents on the 2011 schedule.

Interesting.

Most do. SHSU is the only school that has an AD that has committed to playing an all Div I schedule.

The SLC does not play strictly lesser division foes in OOC nor do they come up short fo the scheduling maximum like their counterparts in another league... ;)

It would be a great home/home to have McNeese and NDSU.

Good luck to the Cowboys this year. Sure enjoyed our trip out there. Forget actually who won - doesn't matter, still listening to great zydeco CD, great memories, great crowd, wish we were coming back this year. Hopefully next. Would like to host y'all too, if we do, will look you up and make sure to reciprocate the good times (but bring your own music to help, my disc probably gonna be fried by then).... awesome. xrotatehx xnodx

PM me an address and you may find some more zydeco cd's. Tell me who you already have.

I'd love to go out to SLO. I have a son in LA.

See there how you are?! Gotta love that..... Thank you for too kind offer.
Keith Frank was out on the outside student lawn that day, got CD from him. Nobody had change so I got to talk to a lot of folks 'cuz no way I was leavin' without the CD. Have since purchased Boozoo Chavis and Beau Jocque? Can't get enough. Hospitality was grand. Real people man. .... Our team has open dates Oct 1 and 8, and unconfirmed rumor maybe 9/17 with South Dakota St., I believe. Next year we are Big Sky so not sure of what dates, slots available, etc., but I will always argue for McNeese. One guy gave me his poncho, store-bought unopened, unannounced, etc., not to mention the tailgate friendliness outside the stad. DG, 75, Yes, by all means, we hook up next time, on me please. Next time down there though I extend the time, I do the dancehalls, I eat the craw... I buy me a hat.
