He joins Mike Sherman (Texas A&M), as former CCSU players/alumni currently serving as head coaches for BCS team. He also joins another CCSU alum, Al Bagnoli (Penn), coaching college football in Philadelphia.
Former Central Connecticut football player and CCSU alum Steve Addazio was named the head football coach at Temple University on Thursday. Addazio, also the former head coach at Cheshire High School, most recently was the offensive coordinator at the University of Florida. A 1981 graduate of Central Connecticut State, Addazio spent the 1985-87 seasons as an assistant at Western Connecticut State before moving to Cheshire in 1988.
