Hearing 'rumors' that he is interviewing at both Ball St. and N. Illinois.

Anyone else hearing anything on these rumors?

I know its still playoff season for some fans, but for UNI fans its time for rumors around the watercooler.

His leaving could be the best thing to happen to UNI in a long time.

That would be great, then UNI would have a new coach, and SIU has ****ty lennon recruits.

Time for NDSU to rule the roost!

I think UNI has the Dr Victory (Darrell Mudra) thing going. We first saw his influence at NDSU. A new coach won't change the football program much, UNI will continue it's tradition IMO.

Northern Illinois hired the d-coordinator of Wisconsin, Dave Doeren. Doeren was an asst at Montana under Joe Glenn, and left with him for Wyo, but didn't stay long. He interviewed for the Montana job a year ago, but withdrew when it became clear that UM couldn't offer much money. Good guy, but definitely a man on a mission to keep moving up.
