If Hal Mumme at McMurry lobbied for it, then he has something up his sleeve.

Sul Ross is still looking for the second coming of Dan Blocker. OK, for you youngsters, of Bonanza fame. Norm Cash of the Detroit Tigers also played there. Yes, I know, who cares?

Looks very hard to get an at-large with this schedule if they lose to UNI. If they don't, they're going to enter the SLC schedule without a counting victory.

Got to love the SLC - this is the direction most of the league is going in, particularly the Louisiana schools due to the financial shortcomings. The Texas schools are not significantly better, but the scheduling by all league schools (with the exception of anyone that has a full Div I schedule with just one FBS game), does no one favors in getting at-large spots.
