Is there a list of current NFL I-AA players by position?

My brother and I had a mild argument last night about what position(s) were most heavily populated with I-AA players. He said I-AA RBs, for example, were non-existent in the NFL.

I told him if the answer were to be found anywhere, it'd be here.

Help me put him in his place.

He doesn't get many carries, but many in the panthers organization are saying Brad Hoover from Western Carolina is turning into a top rank blocking fullback.

I feel aweful for Dexter Coakley with that freak injury he had this year.

And what about Gado coming into his own only to hurt his knee. It is obvious that I-AA is providing a lot of bang for their bucks in NFL...too bad it is such a hard road for most to get to NFL.

Seattle's D.J. Hackett did go to Colorado, but before that he went to CSU Northridge before they dropped football.

I think the originator was looking only for I-AAs in the backfield as the position having the most I-AAers because Adam Bergen, TE for Arizona, is Lehigh's sole representative in the NFL at the moment.

JT O'Sullivan was D2 not D1AA,. He's a former UCD QB when we were D2. I believe we are still considered D2 by D1AA, until next year when we are playoff elgible.

Lamar Gordon was also D2 for NDSU. I guess you included all members who were not 1A's.

It's not by position but you can dump it into an Excel spreadsheet and sort any way you want...
