Stony Brook was to contend and is still undefeated in conference. I think the piling up of early season losses pulled some people off that bandwagon (you're looking at one)

Incredible game, incredible finish, incredible atmosphere at Burgess-Snow Field today.

Never count out a team that's got Marques Ivory under center.

Hurts to know Jamal Young's probably played his last down. At least we've got a reasonably healthy Calvin Middleton and Tig Barksdale behind him.

SEMO looked like a top-10 team for sure today. I believe they've already punched their ticket to the playoffs. Congrats to the Redhawks on a great game, a great season and an amazing turnaround. About 350 very spirited SEMO fans in the stands today, with a total crowd of 20,237, second-largest crowd in school history.

That's great to hear. I know the Athletic Department supported a fan bus to make the trip. The university was also supposed to be the "corporate sponsor" for the game to be shown on the Cape Girardeau CW TV station today. From what I've read, it appears the winning TD was just "one of those things" that just went the other way today, huh? This group is strong; I think they'll make a decent showing in the playoffs...

SEMO certainly played well enough to win. Harris is a real talent, but the Gamecocks managed to keep him mostly bottled up for the first half. Ivory, our starting QB, has a magic touch when playing behind late with a chance to win, and he has a boat-load of talented receivers to chose from. He was on fire against EKU last week, but our defense couldn't get the right stops. Today they did.

Can't wait to see who the Redhawks beat in the playoffs.
