People are so used to us being bad that they can't even stomach to put INDIANA STATE in the poll! :)

Look, you have beaten the following:

2 D-II teams, Missouri State and Illinois State

I like seeing the resurgence of the Trees, but take it one step at a time.

Just caught the spelling error, may bad. Just take that as my thoughts on the ISU(blue) fans that believe they should be in the Top 25.

If we win a few games on the road, then maybe we should be in the top 25, but not until then. My post was purely about Indian St. That made me laugh a little.

I'm still a bit surprised to see the overwhelming majority of coaches and broadcasters vote App #1 but not the two fan polls.

Actually we have only beaten 1 D-2 team and a NAIA team...I am not sure who these fans are who think our shiite don't stink lol...I don't expect greatness I expect at the very least one road win and another 1-2 wins at home giving us our first winning season in a very LONG time...

I'm really surprised it isn't closer. What has app st done that is any different than UD? They should be fairly close together. For what its worth I had ap st. #1 so not bashing

No, I agree with that. Delaware has a strong case for #1 and the "pro" polls should really be a lot closer. It'll be interesting to see what happens next week if both teams win.

I don't know how anyone can vote SFA or J-Ville State #1 or #2 though, as I keep seeing. Delaware and App are far and away the best 2 teams.

No question, and it is a shame, that history gets into the subconscious of the voter.

The official polls don't drop schools from "premier" conferences (BCS in 1A, Big Sky, CAA, MVFC, and SoCon in 1AA) without losing and App started higher than Delaware. I also think, after this week, App should be 1 and Delaware 2, but its not like it matters a huge amount. I'd rather be 2, anyway; same thing when it comes to the playoffs, and you can manufacture some "They're disrespecting us!" sentiment.

WHat, with all the App bashers, who do you think votes in the fan polls?
