View Full Version : Montana at Portland State

JALMOND
October 16th, 2010, 02:13 PM
Kickoff scheduled for 5pm PDT from Hillsboro Stadium. The Grizzlies are coming off a big win over Idaho State while the Vikings were taking it on the chin at Montana State last week. A homecoming of sorts for many Grizzly players including Justin Roper, who lead the Ducks to a Sun Bowl victory in 2007. Also, the Grizzly coach, Robin Pflugrad was a wide receiver Mouse Davis' run and shoot offense at Portland State in the late 70's. Roper will quarterback the Grizzlies this week and his counterpart for the Vikings will be Connor Kavanaugh, who has proven more than adequate in leading the Viking pistol offense. Last week, the Vikings had a big lead on Montana State at the end of the first quarter, then watched the Bobcats run away and hide. Weather should not be a factor, partly sunny and temps near 60 at kickoff.

Please note a change in the website for the Viking play by play THIS WEEK ONLY. The radio broadcast will be on Portland's 750am KXL radio.
