UNH football player charged with sex assault

DURHAM — A University of New Hampshire football player was arrested on a charge of sexual assault Thursday.
Nineteen-year-old Jerome Wilkins., originally of Baltimore, Md., was taken into custody by Durham police. He is held on $50,000 cash bail and will be arraigned in Rochester District Court today.
