I believe by last count the seven teams in the Southland have 13 I-A games scheduled.

Does any other conference even come close ?

That is not Sunbelt chump change, but I believe at least 5 Big 12, 2 SEC, and 1 Pac-10.

Wasn't that 2000 when OSU went 11-1 and destroyed ND in the Fiesta Bowl?

Liberty is at Rutgers & Wake Forest back-to-back this fall. Although our new coaching staff is trying to talk Rutgers into letting us out of matchup.

That it was and I believe it was a drive at the end of the game that edged EWU...That OSU team was a bunch of true thugs that Dennis Erikson brought in...

SFA is playing at Arizona. In between LSU and USC, maybe they can sneak up on them. :)

It would be cool if we could get a summary from each conference showing how many games and against which conferences.

Then we could see as a whole, which I-A conferences/teams the I-AA teams play the most, etc...

Hey, remind me again, under what classification does Georgetown College (KY) play? Hmm, gee, let's see, I believe it's NAIA Div 1. You don't think that maybe a certain team from the mighty SoCon played them last year, do you???? I seem to remember a saying about glass houses... ;)

Georgetown (KY) is Mike Ayer's Alma Mater which I guess is how they appeared on our schedule. This year they have been replaced by the South Carolina Gamecocks on September 16.

EKU @ Cincinnati, Sept. 2
JSU @ Mississippi State, Oct. 14
Samford @ Georgia Tech, Sept. 9
SEMO @ Arkansas, Oct. 14
UTM, @ Ohio, Sept. 2

Schedules not yet out:
EIU
Murray
TSU
TTU

For the OVC so far, that's 2 SEC games, 1 ACC, 1 Big East and 1 MAC. (FWIW, Samford and SEMO each have a D-II game, as well.)
