I wonder why they have such a tough time getting more home games, they have absolutely wonderful facilities.

P.S. I wonder what it will be like for the returning App State players going back there next year for a regular conference game?

We had budget cuts in 2005 which necessitated the addition of IA games...that pushed back the WKU series, which now has the Mocs on the road in the first games in the series...doubling up on OOC road games. So instead of the typical 5-6, 6-5 two year home road balance, the Mocs got stuck with 7-4 this year. I do applaud the AD for not playing any non DI games though.

I am hoping it will be a wonderful walk in...and a depressing walk out (just speaking from a Moc fan persective :)) ASU, even when they have won, has always had trouble in Finley. I don't have the media guide in front of me, but I believe Chattanooga has one 2 of the last 3 at Finley, and the loss was by only 3.

What sacres me the most is 6 of the first 8 on the road...with no off week. Tough sked.

I imagine everyone will bring their 'A' game against App next year... It should make for an incredible run by the Mountaineers when the season wraps up. Finley was a grand facility and I look froward to seeing another game there next year (if not two).

Are you sure about playing Western Kentucky the first weekend of November in 2007? That is always in the thick of GFC conference play. Now that I think about it in 2001-2003 and 2005 UNI has played at Western Kentucky the first Saturday in November. I have always liked that due to the fact that it generally means good weather.
