In Saturday's 24-0 win over Butler, the Torero defense held the Bulldogs to just 91 yards of offense, including 17 yards on 27 attempts. USD's defense was paced by strong safety Loka Kanongataa (Bellevue, WA) and DE Mario Kurn (Encinitas, CA). For their outstanding efforts, the Torero duo shared this week's CFPA National Defensive Performer of the Week honors.
