Well after one game Stump has proven that having more then one full time coach, a full allotment of scholarships and not having to cut the football field before each game, makes a big difference.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Corey Cushingberry could feel it, the wave of momentum building in Southern’s favor.

All he wanted to do was keep it moving.

Sunday afternoon in Citrus Bowl Stadium, under a blazing-hot sun in the fourth quarter of Stump Mitchell’s first game as the Jaguars’ new football coach, Cushingberry sensed the turning point of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge, the key moment forthcoming in a 37-27 victory over Delaware State.

Did Southern not have those tools previously? Or was that a reference to Delaware State?

If Southern did not have those resources , how can they afford it now? Didn't Southern cut their athletic budget and don't they still owe some of their coaches from promises that they couldn't afford in the past?
