The Southern Jaguars placed four players on the Southwestern Athletic Conferences Preseason teams, and the team was picked to finish fourth in the SWAC's Western Division, as the SWAC announced the preseason teams and order of finish, as selected by Conference coaches, sports information directors, and selected media members.
