Sophomore running back Tyler Smith returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown early in the third quarter, but it was the lone touchdown for Bucknell as the Bison football team lost a hard-fought season opener at Duquesne, 17-13, Saturday evening at breezy Arthur J. Rooney Field.
