The Minutemen continued with double sessions of practice on Monday with an early practice at 9 a.m., followed by a 3:30 p.m., time in the afternoon. Senior defensive back James Carven was honored with the blue MVP jersey before practice started on Monday. The Minutemen are geared up for the Jets-Giants preseason game on Monday night as three former UMass players will be in action: Victor Cruz with the Giants and James Ihedigbo and Vladimir Ducasse with the Jets.
